How is the Ozone Method Applied?

Although there are many different application methods, the ozone method is mostly applied in the form of major and minor autohemotherapy. Major autohemotherapy, also known as systemic ozone therapy, involves taking approximately 100-250 cc of blood from the patient, combining it with a mixture of ozone and oxygen for 5-10 minutes, and then re-administering this new mixture to the patient intravenously. It is generally administered 2-3 times a week for 12-15 sessions. Systemic application can also be administered as serum ozonation. Minor autohaemotherapy involves mixing 2-5 cc of blood taken from the patient with ozone, waiting for 5 minutes, and then injecting it into the muscle. It can be performed alongside each systemic application or every 3 sessions. Another method, the local ozone method, involves injecting oxygen and ozone mixtures prepared in appropriate doses directly into the muscle, joint, or subcutaneous tissue, depending on the condition of the disease. It is generally administered once a week for a total of 6-10 sessions.
